THE GATE OF FORGIVENESS

One of the windows to tasting the grapes I wrote on yesterday is the “Gate of Forgiveness.”  This simpley means the “Transferal of the right to judge and penalize.” That right belongs to the Creator not to us. It literally means that you give up your position on God’s vengeance team. You see, forgiveness can not flow to you until it can flow through you. You must forgive in order to be forgiven.

Many times our success is stopped because our mind is on someone who has hurt us or has lied about us or whatever. Our mind is pre-occupied with that person and whether you know it or not that person is controlling your life. You cannot procede in your life until you get past that hurt or that person who has offended you.

FORGIVENESS has TWO PARTS:

1.  You must train yourself to forgive other people who have hurt you in some way.

2.  You must also train yourself to forgive yourself for the hurt you have caused, because deep down you know you have offended others.

Until you learn to forgive others and then to forgive yourself, you will be stopped in your tracks when it comes to growing and being successful in life. Take some time at the beginning of this year and reflect on your life. Are you holding forgiveness against someone. SETTLE IT WITH THEM SO YOU CAN ON WITH THE GREAT LIFE GOD HAS GIVEN YOU. You are only hurting yourself if you don’t.
