Words are forces. Wrong or right, to build or destroy. They leave a trail of destruction or accomplishment. WORDS can build confidence or tear down FAITH. Words are the tools that God gave us to build up our own sprit and mind. Our body responds to SOUNDS, and our spirit responds to WORDS. WORDS give us MIND-PICTURES that our entire being responds to. We hear a story and we respond by smiling or crying because we FEEL. What we hear, we think about, what we think about, we feel, what we feel, we do. What we do becomes a habit. And this is important, our HABITS determine our life and eventual destiny.
So stop talking about shortages and set-backs. Stop talking about defeat and disease. Stop talking about failure and problems. Concentrate instead on the opportunities at hand. Talk about the blessings you now possess. Take time to taste the triumphs and victories that you have accomplished today. Remember that today is the tomorrow you talked about yesterday.
