When you say the word SUCCESS, everybody thinks of yachts, homes, cars, fancy clothes and big bank accounts. It is quite possible to have all of these things and be successful. Unfortunately, merely having all these possessions does not always mean you are successful. Many people who have all of these possessions will admit openly that they are not truly happy or successful. Their life is empty and they are not fulfilled in their life.
Some people define success in terms of POWER, POSITION, PRESTIGE AND POPULARITY. Again a person may have all these things and still not be successful or happy in their life.
Alexander the Great went out with his army and conquered the whole know world at that time. When he came home, it was said he wept bitterly because he had no more worlds to conquer. Success cannot come from outward possessions or accomplishments. It must come from an inward peach of knowing who you are and being happy with yourself. Being content with yourself and knowing who you are in God is what sets the stage for true SUCCESS.
