THE COST OF FREEDOM

independence-day-4th-of-july-570x427

Today, the 4th of July, what a great day and we should celebrate it. I think we should not only celebrate it today but what about every other day. We are not just free on this day but we are free each and every day of the year. This year and every year we have celebrated since we won our independence many many years ago.

I think we forget what it is to be FREE,  I mean really FREE. We can live in this great country where FREEDOM is all around us and still be trapped in bondage without any FREEDOM. I thank God for the people who paid the price for our FREEDOM, but we need to remember that our true FREEDOM was paid for long before our AMERICAN FREEDOM was paid for.

Jesus paid for our FREEDOM over 2000 years ago when He died on a CROSS for the true FREEDOM that set us FREE. When you have this FREEDOM you are and can be truly FREE. Any time we feel we have this FREEDOM, we need to remember that someone paid for it for us. Our Military people paid for the FREEDOMS that we have as Americans, and that Jesus Christ paid for the FREEDOMS that we have as HUMANS.

I am thankful to all who have paid for the FREEDOM that I have as an American and also the FREEDOM that I have as a Human living here on planet earth.

Remember to THANK THOSE WHO PAID FOR YOUR FREEDOMS WHOEVER THEY ARE.

Have a great SAFE DAY.
