Kaye and I just made the long drive from Port Orchard, WA to Greeley, CO. It was a great safe trip. We drove about 8 hours the first day and then about 16 hours the second day. We got to Kaye’s sister’s house about 9pm on the second day.
My question for you is, What kind of a TRIP are you on? All of us are on some kind of a trip. In our personal lives, our business lives, our entertainment lives, and our marriage lives. What is your trip like? Does it seem like there is a lot of construction work and detours along the way? Our trip to Colorado didn’t have any detours along the way. Can I just tell you it is not that good most of the time. Usually there are a lot of detours and rough roads along the trip. The trip is worth it if you know how to deal with the small and sometimes large detours that you must take along the way.
On a trip just like in life, we need to learn to MAJOR on the MINOR things in life that come our way. If you can successfully learn how to deal with the MINOR setbacks and detours, you will not have too much trouble with the MAJOR difficulties.
LIFE is made up of setbacks and detours all along the way. I don’t believe you will ever have a time when there are no DETOURS. The main point is not to have any DETOURS. The main point is to learn how to deal with them in a skillful manner. Everyone deals with setbacks in life. How do you deal with the ones you have?
How you deal with your DETOURS will the determine the TRIP YOU ARE ON AND HOW WELL YOU NAVIGATE ON THAT TRIP.
GOOD TRAVELING AND BLESSING TO YOU ON YOUR TRIP.
